Maple and pine with original brown stained finish, 72 ½ x 38 ¼ x 19 ½ inches.

This Queen Anne Highboy is in a rare and outstanding state of preservation, including the original finish, original brass hardware, and original turned drop pendants. A rare feature is the single large drawer in the lower section designed to appear as a three small drawers; the center fan carved. Characteristic of its Essex County origin are the elegantly carved cabriole legs with spurred knee returns ending in cushioned pad feet.
