This elegant tall case clock’s hood features a molded broken arch top with carved floral rosettes, and three plinths with original turned finials. The signed dial, “Henry Wismer B.C.”, is beautifully painted with a basket of fruit with seashell spandrels. The case features Germanic influenced ring turned columns centering a shaped door. The scalloped apron of the base highlights the graceful flared French feet. The clock remains in wonderful untouched condition.
